Chandlerhaus Kennels is committed to a pets safety when transporting from our kennel to their new home that is why we only use Airlines that Specialize in Animal Transportation. Chandlerhaus Kennels has every puppy, youth or adult rottweiler examined by a licensed veterinarian to ensure the pet is healthy that all vaccinations are up-to-date and obtain a Health Certificate to meet requirements set forth by the USDA - United States Department of Agriculture. Traveling conditions are also regulated by federal guidelines for temperature restrictions (heat & cold) that us as the shipper and airlines abide by. If traveling during the summer or winter months, we choose flights that will accommodate the temperature extremes. Early morning or late evening flights are better in the summer; afternoon flights are better in the winter. Some flights are restricted by the airline when there are temperature extremes, but there are other airlines that provider air condition or heated shipping areas during these times. The carriers we use are airline approved kennels that conform to USDA and IATA regulations. All carriers are sturdy, properly ventilated, and large enough for the animal to freely sit and stand with its head erect, turn around, and lie down in a normal posture. The carrier also contain two empty dishes, for food and water, along with feeding instructions and my signature certifying that the pet was offered food and water within four hours of your flight's scheduled departure.
